Greetings from Baylor Admissions!

Key Dates

Here are a few key dates to pay attention to:

Admission File Deadlines:

  • November 1: Early Action AND Early Decision Deadline
  • February 1: Regular Admissions Deadline

CSS Profile and FAFSA:

The CSS Profile will open without delay. Encourage your students to start ASAP! The FAFSA will open in December 2024. Check the FAFSA website for updates.

Encourage your students to complete both financial aid applications as soon as they are available so they can be considered for need-based financial aid.

New this year, non-citizen students will be eligible for Baylor-funded, institutional need-based aid (if eligible) by completing the CSS Profile.

  • October 1: The CSS Profile opens
  • November 1: Priority deadline to submit the CSS Profile for Early Decision and Early Action
  • December: FAFSA opens
  • February 1: CSS Profile final deadline and FAFSA priority deadline for all admission plans

Application Review and Merit-Based Scholarship Season!

Application review season is quickly approaching, and one exiting update is that accepted students will receive their admissions acceptance WITH a merit-based scholarship offer if eligible!

Your students can earn anywhere from $10,000 - $25,000 a year (renewable up to four years at Baylor) for simply applying to Baylor! No separate application is required.

Additional Application Materials

Helpful Resource: Self-Reported Academic Record

Self-Reported Academic Record:

We recommend that students self-report their academic information, including coursework and grades, with the Self-Reported Academic Record, or SRAR. This allows Baylor Admissions to process the student's application more holistically by providing a better understanding of their GPA and individual coursework. To learn more, visit baylor.edu/SRAR.

Helpful Resource: Transcripts

Transcripts:

Transcripts require significant time and attention, so we ask that you remind your students to send in their transcripts now to complete their application file. We accept either official or unofficial transcripts, although official transcripts are required for final enrollment at Baylor. Visit this webpage for more information on transcript requirements, like how to submit them and what you should include.

Upcoming Events

Baylor Premiere

Baylor Premiere

Premiere is a jam-packed open house that will help your students learn more about what Baylor offers. It’s a great time to tour BU's award-winning campus, experience college life and ask questions of our talented faculty and staff.

Open to all high school students, this event has something for everyone! Premiere is fast-approaching on October 19; we highly encourage you to recommend this event to your students.

Baylor Scholarship Programs

Scholarship Programs

Each year, Baylor University awards more than $6 million in generous scholarships to high-achieving prospective freshman students who participate in our Scholarship Programs! Some programs require students to submit a separate Scholarship Program application to be considered for participation, while others are invitation-only based on a holistic review of academic records and extracurricular accomplishments.

Please review our comprehensive Scholarship Program website to learn more about program eligibility, deadlines and requirements.
