Scholarship Application

 The Sons of the American Legion Frank Gladd Squadron 20 is proud to be
offering the amazing young men and women of Fort Gibson High School the
opportunity to apply for the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 20
Scholarship.
 All applicants must be a senior in good standings with the school, maintain a
GPA minimum of 2.5, and must have a letter of recommendation from a teacher.
 The Sons of the American Legion Frank Gladd Squadron 20 Scholarship award
will consist of the following periods and timeline
o The application must be submitted along with a 2 page essay in MLA
format covering one of the subjects listed below. Due December 1, 2024
 The 1 st Amendment
 The 13 th Amendment
 The 26 th Amendment
o The essays will be reviewed through the month of January and then
interviews will be conducted through the month of February.
o After the interviews have been conducted at the March Monthly meeting
the scholarship will be awarded to the winner in the amount of $500.

 Applications and essay are to be returned to Sons of the American Legion
