The Blue Ribbon award is the gold standard of education. It isn’t just about good grades; it validates that our students are achieving at the highest levels and that our educators are using the most effective teaching methods in the country.

Schools are nominated based on rigorous performance standards—specifically for being in the top tier of state assessment scores or for making significant strides in closing achievement gaps. Only a tiny fraction of schools (typically less than 1% nationwide) earn this distinction annually.
